Character:
Sai:
This is Sai. She's cold as hell, man. Like, seriously ice cold. She can take people out without even flinching, and everyone's scared stiff of her. Her power? It'll scare the crap outta anyone who stands in her way. She's tough as nails. She lives with her sister, Mila (yeah, that's Sally), who's thirteen. Sai's twenty-five herself. Their mom passed when Sai was fifteen and Mila was just a little thing, two years old. Their dad raised 'em 'til the mafia wasted him. Sai took over his whole setup after that and became a mafia girl herself. She had a real tough time raisin' her little sister, tryin' to juggle her own life and the job. She lives in this big old house.
Arthur:
His nickname's Antonio. This dude's got a short fuse, gets pissed off easy. He's another cold mafia guy. He can off people calm as you please, doesn't make a sound. His mom died when she had his brother, Adam. Arthur was only three back then. His dad looked after him and his dad's wife – his stepmom, I guess – 'til his old man got whacked and the wife just vanished. Arthur's twenty-eight, and his brother Adam's twenty-five. They live in this huge, fancy-pants mansion.
Hassan:
Hassan's Sai's main buddy, her close friend. He's always been there for her. He's livin' away from his family too. It's just him and his mom – he's her only kid. His dad died when Hassan was ten. His mom raised him 'til she hooked up with a guy she fell for through their work. Hassan works with Sai too; he's basically her right-hand man. He's got his own decent place to live. He's twenty-four now.
Liniaa:
She's a friend of both Sai and Hassan. Her whole family got wiped out in a car wreck on the road up to New York. She had a real hard time gettin' her life together after that, tryin' to figure things out, 'til Sai and Hassan helped her find a decent spot to live. She finished school and everything. Now she's goin' to New York Public University. She's workin' her way through college, payin' for everything herself. She's twenty-two and all settled into her own place now.

-------
She was sleepin' like a log, didn't feel a thing, until she woke up all groggy, rubbin' her eyes. She grabbed her phone and saw it was 7:00 AM. She sighed, kinda annoyed, and dragged herself outta bed. She washed up, took a shower, brushed her hair, and just left it down on her shoulders.
She walked outta her room, callin' out to her sister Mila, "Hey lazybones! Get up! You're gonna be late!"
Mila answered, soundin' all sleepy and loud, "Alright, alright!"
Sai, kinda fed up, said, "Mila, come on, get up! It's your first day of middle school waitin' for ya!"
Mila, bein' lazy, groaned, "Ugh, middle school? I was comfy on break!"
Sai, puttin' on the mad face, warned her, "I'm countin' to three. If you ain't outta bed, you know what I'll do!"
Mila, annoyed, grumbled, "Ugh, I hate it when you do that sprayin'-water thing!"
Sai, real quiet, started, "One... two..."
Mila, annoyed, jumped up, "Alright, alright, I'm up, I swear! Put that thing down!"
Sai smiled. "Okay then! Go get ready so I can run you to school before I gotta go to work."
Mila sighed. "Fine."
Then she got up and got herself ready, puttin' on something for school. She came down the stairs and said, "Sai, can you do my hair?"
Sai, soundin' kinda resigned, said, "Ugh, you're thirteen already, ain't you gonna learn how to do it yourself?"
Mila, annoyed, pleaded, "Come on, sis, I swear this day's gonna be boring enough, don't be like that."
Sai, gentle now, said, "Alright, alright, come here."
Then she did her hair, puttin' it up in a ponytail. When she finished, she said, "All done, pretty girl! C'mon."
Mila, all sweet, said, "Okay, now it's time! Mornin', Black Hair!"
Sai, soft, replied, "Mornin', beautiful." Then she added, calm, "Didn't I tell you to cut it out with that nickname?"
Mila giggled. "Heh heh, I forgot!"
Sai, gentle, said, "It's fine. Let's go."
Then they both headed out to the car, and Sai drove Mila to middle school, and then went to her own work.
He was sittin' there workin' in his office. He always gets there two hours before his brother. He was readin' quiet and calm like, until his phone rang. He picked it up and said, "Yeah?"
Adam, nice and easy, said, "My car broke down on the road, and there ain't no taxi around. Can you come get me?"
Arthur, cold, replied, "Ugh, fine."
Then he got up, grabbed his jacket, put it on, and headed out to get his brother in his car. A notification sound on his phone went off. He looked at it without watchin' where he was goin'. He suddenly slammed on the brakes, scared stiff. He was just about to hit this fancy car. He saw a girl get outta the car, lookin' mad, and she banged on his window. "Hey, mister! Can't you see where you're goin'? You almost smashed my car!"
He opened the door, all cold, and got out. "Guess I wasn't lookin'."
Sai, pissed off, yelled, "That ain't no excuse! There was a little kid in my car! Are you an idiot?"
Arthur, gettin' mad now, snapped back, "Look, lady, I said I wasn't payin' attention! If there's damage, I can pay for it!"
Sai, still ragin', shot back, "If you wanna pay for the damage, then stop drivin' altogether!"
Then she took off, got back in her car, and headed where she was goin'.
Arthur was all riled up 'bout what she did. Then he got back in his car and went to get his brother. He saw him standin' there with his car on the side of the road. He pulled over his car too and got out, still mad 'bout what just happened.
Adam, nice, asked, "What took you so long?"
Arthur, mad, barked, "Get in the car, right now! I told John to come get your car in a bit and take it to the shop. Just get in!"
Adam, confused, asked, "What's wrong? Why are you mad? We just needed a ride, what's the big deal?"
Arthur, cold, said, "Nothin'. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have run into that annoying girl first thing this mornin'. And stop askin' so many questions, Adam."
Adam laughed. "Alright, alright, let's head back."
Then they both went back to the company.
She got to her company, got out lookin' all cool and important. She walked into her office, sat down in her chair, grabbed her phone, and called Hassan. He picked up and said, "Mornin', sunshine!"
Sai, cold, replied, "My mornin' was annoying, no sunshine here."
Hassan, nice, asked, "What happened? Who annoyed my princess?"
Sai, kinda fed up, said, "Forget that. Where are you?"
Hassan, soft, said, "I'm on my way to you."
Sai, calm, said, "Okay, I'll wait."
Hassan, nice, said, "Alright, see ya."
Sai, cold, said, "Later."
Then she hung up, grabbed the office phone, and told her secretary, cold, "Bring me coffee."
Then she got up and looked out the office window, the one facin' New York. Someone knocked on the door. She told 'em to come in. Noah came in with a cup of coffee. "Your coffee, boss."
Sai, calm, said, "Thanks."
Then Noah kinda bowed and left.
She sat back down and drank her coffee, waitin' for Hassan. He came in without knockin'.
Sai, annoyed, said, "There's a door, you know."
Hassan, curious, replied, "It's cool. Now I gotta know who annoyed you first thing this mornin'."
Sai, cold, said, "Looks like you're enjoyin' this."
Hassan, denyin' it, said, "Nah, not like that. Just wanna know, that's all."
Sai, cold, said, "Yeah, yeah."
Hassan, pushin', said, "Come on, tell me."
Sai, cold, explained, "I was droppin' off my sister Mila at middle school, and next thing I know, there's a car right in front of me. If I hadn't stopped, there woulda been an accident."
Hassan, worried, asked, "Is Mila okay?"
Sai, cold, said, "She was a little scared, but she's fine."
Hassan, kinda cocky, asked, "So, what'd you do to the guy?"
Sai, cold, described it, "Ugh, I got outta the car mad and laid into him. He couldn't get the mad look off his face."
Hassan laughed. "How could he not get mad? Your words hit like a ton of bricks!"
Sai, calm, said, "Alright, enough about that. What's up with Mark?"
Hassan, nice, said, "I'll go get all the new info on him. I'll search 'til I find somethin'."
Sai nodded, and Hassan got up and went to his work.
Alright, after a while, it was like 9:30 in the morning.
He was sittin' there, lookin' for mafia partners on his computer. He wants to team up with another company so they can fight together. He found a company called Z.A. He called out to Adam, "Yo, Adam!"
Adam, nice, said, "I'm here." He came in and asked, "What is it?"
Arthur, cold, said, "I need info on the Z.A. company."
Adam nodded and went out to his work. He was back in just fifteen minutes with all the info on the company. He gave it to his brother and said, "Got what you needed, bro."
Arthur, cold, said, "Okay."
Then Adam left, and Arthur took the file and read it. "The Z.A. company. It's a strong company. They got weapons and seriously strong warehouses. Their stock price is a thousand bucks in the US markets. Man, they're seriously tough. Everybody knows they're the most dangerous. The company name is Sai George. They teamed up with the Giant Mafia six years back, and haven't teamed up with anyone else since then."
Arthur was sold on what he read. He called his brother. "Adam, get in here."
Adam, nice, said, "Okay." He came in and asked, "What's up, bro?"
Arthur, calm, said, "Send a request for us to team up with the Z.A. company."
Adam nodded and left to do what his brother asked.
After a little while...
Hassan came into Sai's office after knockin' and she told him to come in. He walked in and said, "Got some good news!"
Sai, cold, said, "Spill it."
Hassan, nice, said, "The N.V. company is comin' back to New York tomorrow."
Sai, surprised, asked, "Really?"
Hassan, nice, said, "Yep."
Sai, kinda devilish, smirked, "Heh, looks like he's walkin' right into my hell."
Just then, someone knocked on the door. She told 'em to come in. Noah came in with a file. "Boss, got a request here, came as a file."
Sai, cold, said, "Okay, put it here."
Then he put it down on the desk and left.
Hassan, askin', "What's that?"
Sai, cold, said, "Let me check." Then she grabbed the file and read it out loud. "The S.D. company wants to team up with us."
"Go get me all the details on 'em."
Hassan, nice, said, "Okay."
Then he got up and went to his work.
After a bit, he came back into the office and said, "Got what you asked for."
Sai, calm, said, "Thanks. Stick around and tell me what you think."
Hassan, nice, said, "Sure thing." Then he sat down, and Sai read the file. "The S.D. company. Company's got expensive stock. Teamed up with the Devil Mafia five years back. They got serious power and a big reputation in the US. The company name's Arthur Richard, and everybody's watchin' their weapons and how strong they are. So, what do you think 'bout all this?"
Hassan, askin', "What are you thinkin'?"
Sai, cold, said, "Since the N.V. company is comin' back, teamin' up with these guys would be a win."
Hassan, nice, said, "So, sounds like you're gonna go for it?"
Sai, cold, said, "Yep."
Alright, so the mornin' wrapped up, and then it was night.
They were sittin' in the living room together. Mila was studyin'. Sai was drinkin' tea, thinkin' 'bout Mark and plannin' stuff in her head, until Mila broke her train of thought. "I'm all done, Sai."
Sai, nice, said, "Good job, beautiful."
Mila, tired, groaned, "Ugh, I'm sleepy. Gonna go to bed."
Sai, sweet, said, "Nighty night, beautiful."
Mila, sweet, hugged her sister and said, "You too."
Then she left, and Sai stayed in the living room for a bit, until she went out to the garden and sat on the swing, swingin' back and forth. Her phone rang, it was Liniaa. She answered and said, "Hey, Liniaa."
Liniaa laughed. "Hey, Black Hair!"
Sai, cold, said, "You and Hassan ruined Mila with that nickname."
Liniaa laughed again. "It's cool. So, how you doin' and how was your day?"
Sai, kinda soft, said, "The guy who killed my dad is comin' back tomorrow."
Liniaa, excited, said, "Really? Finally!"
Sai, gentle, added, "Also, I got a meetin' first thing tomorrow mornin'. We're teamin' up with the S.D. company."
Liniaa, askin', "Isn't your strength enough on its own, Sai?"
Sai, calm, said, "Nah, gotta be careful."
Liniaa, sweet, said, "Okay, whatever you think is best."
Sai, gentle, said, "Tell me 'bout your day."
Liniaa, nice, said, "It was good. I'm in my third year now, and school's startin' to get tougher."
Sai, sweet, said, "You got this."
Liniaa, nice, said, "My sweet friend."
Sai, gentle, said, "Alright, alright, I'm sleepy now."
Liniaa laughed. "Okay, sweetie, bye bye."
Sai, gentle, said, "Bye."
Then she hung up, went to her room, crashed on her bed, and fell asleep cold. She was gettin' ready for the early mornin' meetin' where she'd be teamin' up with a company as difficult as Arthur's.
